It can be used as a true stand alone unit giving you insight in your rifle and projectile performance. As a stand alone unit you can adjust the weather conditions, 4 different distances that you want the chronograph to track the projectile, enter your projectile weight, drag model and the True Ballistic Chronograph will get you a accurate ballistic coefficient for that projectile.
